It consists of details such as designation, department/city/state/location/country, reporting authority, requests for documents if applicable and salary details if applicable. Many times it also consists of details of reporting authorities as well as onsite locations.

Reasons for Employee Transfers
Usually, employees are transferred for any of the following reasons:

Contents of Employee Transfer Letter Excel Template
This template consists of 5 sheets: 1 Data Input Sheet and 4 Transfer Letter Templates.
Data Input Sheet
There are 3 sections in the Data Input Sheet: Employer Credentials, Employee Credentials, and Transfer details.
Employer Credential section consists of:

Name of Issuing Authority
Designation of Issuing Authority
Employer Name, address, contact, and email id are not required if you already have a preprinted letterhead of the company. In such cases, you need to adjust the print area using the Page Break View option.
Employee Credentials include:
Name of Employee

City/State
Pin Code
Contact Number
Transfer Details section consists of the following heads:
Letter Issue Date
Joining Date
Joining Designation
Current Designation
New Designation
Transferred Department
Transferred Location (If Applicable)
Onsite Plant Name

Entering the above details depends on which type of letter you are issuing. Hence, leave the cells blank that are not applicable to you.
For example, Onsite details will not require if you are making an off-site transfer letter. New CTC will not be required if the transfer is made without promotion or salary hike.
Employee Transfer Letter Templates
There are a total of 4 different Transfer Letter templates: Transfer Letter with Promotion, Transfer Letter without Promotion and Onsite Transfer Letter with Promotion and Onsite Transfer Letter with Salary Hike.
All four templates can be printed just by entering the details in the Data Input Sheet. The linking of the cell has been done so that it places the required details in the perfect place.
Printing the letter using the excel Excel file will look different from Word as it consists of table format. Hence, there will a little bit more space near the credentials. Thus, other formats have been provided above for your ease.
Additionally, to send a pdf version use the inbuilt Microsoft to PDF option available in the print menu. See image below:
