Contents of Prenatal Care Schedule Excel Template
This template consists of two section:
- Expecting Mother’s and consulting obstetricians/gynecologist’s Information
- Pregnancy Due Date Calculator and Prenatal Care Schedule
1. Expecting Mother’s and consulting obstetricians/gynecologist’s Information
Enter the information of the expecting mother like name, address, age, weight, height, contact details etc.
In contact details, the number given should be of your husband or near one’s so that if anything accidentally happens these numbers can be informed.
In addition to the above, you also need to enter the name of the consulting obstetricians/gynecologist and their contact details. This details can be helpful in case of emergency.
2. Pregnancy Due Date Calculator and Prenatal Care Schedule
The second section consists of 2 things; pregnancy Due Date calculator and Prenatal Care Schedule. Both of these things are interconnected.
When you enter the 1st day of your last period (menstrual cycle) then it will calculate your approximate date of childbirth.
For a healthy pregnancy, obstetricians/gynecologist will probably want to see you on the following schedule of prenatal visits which is recommended:
1 prenatal visit a month from Week 4 to Week 28, 1 prenatal visit every 2 weeks from Week 28 to Week 36 and 1 prenatal visit every week from Week 36 to Week 40.
Thus the above schedule of visits has been preprogrammed according to the above-recommended schedule.
As I have mentioned earlier, that if there are any complications then the schedule can be manually edited.

Prenatal care is very important for you and your baby. Babies of those mothers who don’t get prenatal care or irregular care are likely to have a low birth weight.
If the schedule is followed accurately then the doctor gets a chance to check you regularly. Regular checkup helps them to spot problems early and preventive measures can be taken so that you have the healthiest pregnancy.
