      Hi Sarah,
First Basic Difference is the VAT rates between UAE and UK. The percentage of VAT in the UK is 20%, 5 %, and Zero Rated. Whereas in UAE it is only 5 % and Zero Rated.
Documents required for Registration differ from country to country.
I haven’t studied UK VAT in details so cannot tell you more about this. Below given is the link of the UK Govt website. Hope this might help you.

Hi I am trying to register for a VAT Number in UAE. I already registered but I do not see any button like “Register for VAT”. I only see my DASHBOARD, MY PROFILE and DOWNLOADS. Under Downloads I only see Add New Taxable Person. Where can I see the button Register for VAT?

In LLC company, do we need to include all partners’ details on the registration? One partner is also a company.

I have applied for UAE. VAT registration for my new LLC company . But application got rejected 2 times. Reason: turnover or expenses did not exceed the Voluntary limit. So in this case, we are not eligible for VAT?

Hi Sadik, The process is all the same. While selecting the type of business you must select the Natural Person – Individual from the drop-down list.

Supposing we are not registered yet. so, we issued invoices without VAT over the few months. However, we noticed that our business is doing well and that we have reached the 375,000 turnover. We need to issue an invoice this week. so, the question is: Do we need to register before issuing another
invoice? Or we can issue invoices while applying for a registration?
Do we need to put VAT amount on it? or we will wait for the approval of our registration?

Hello, We have FZCO companies. They were just recently set up. We will do well above the 375K. However we don’t have any business in the UAE meaning we buy outside UAE and sell outside.
    1. I don’t have to invoice my customers outside UAE with VAT right?
(goods don’t even come in UAE)
    2. do I still need VAT numbers?
