Style name: Give the common industry name of the product that your buyers are familiar with.
Department: The shoe or handbag department where the product can be found. Example, men’s, women’s, etc.
Standard price: Specify the product price. This is not the MRP.
Quantity: Give the product quantity you want to sell.
Maximum retail price: Write the MRP of your product. This is not the selling price.
Main image URL: Insert the URL of the main product image here.
Other than the main image URL space, a seller can insert additional images to attract buyers into their inventory product listings. In this excel file, you will get only 1 column space to add other product images. Whereas Amazon India gives you 12 image space in the product back end page when you click edit on the manage your inventory page.
Upload all product images on Google Drive, Dropbox or any other similar cloud platform. Create shareable links for these images. Right click on the image & click Get Shareable Link option from the drop-down list. Copy the link & paste it here.
Parentage: Values here will be either parent or child. To understand variation better, refer to the “example” tab in the excel worksheet.
Parent SKU: Provide the SKU of the main product if you are listing an accessory or variant of the main product.
Relationship type: Describe whether the product that is being listed is an accessory or a close variant of the main product. If you are listing the main product then leave this entire section blank.
Variation theme: Define the variation theme of product here. For example, size, colour, material etc.
Variation section is to be filled only if you are listing an accessory or a close variant of the main product. Remember that if you are adding main product then leave this section empty. For example, a handbag is your main product but a stylish handbag leather handle in red, black or brown colour is an additional accessory to it.
Update delete: You get 3 options in the drop-down list. Delete, Partial Update or Update. If you are listing or updating a new product then select Update or Partial Update. If you want to delete a product completely then select Delete.
Model number: Describe the model number of the shoe or handbag. Refer the packing.
Manufacturer: Write the name of the manufacturer.
Product description: Describe your product here. Write vital info about the product.
Recommended browse nodes: Check the valid values tab in your excel sheet for 10 digit browse node.
Inner material type: The material of the product used on the inner side.
Closure type: Indicate the method used to close the bag or shoe. For example, zip, staps, stick, etc.
Bullet points: Write 5 key features in the bullet point columns of your product.
Search terms: A set of specific words that a potential buyer will type & search for your products. You get total 5 columns to write the search terms.
Style keywords: Insert keywords that are specific to the style of the product.
Platinum Keywords: These are keywords inserted by platinum sellers.
Catalogue number: An alphanumeric value for an entire catalogue of shoe or handbag.
Search terms are keywords that a buyer will type in the Amazon.in – search bar to find their product. Refer the image below.
Open Amazon.in link and type “handbag”. You will see suggestions these are potential search terms that buyers type to find a handbag. Note down these suggestions and repeat the above step using these suggestions to find more variables of suggestions. Item length, height & width: Specify the length, height & width of the product.
Item dimensions unit of measure: Give the display dimensions measuring unit of the product.
Package height, width & length: Indicate the height, width & length of the final package.
Package dimensions unit of measure: Write the package dimension unit of measure in CM, FT, IN, M, MM.
Package weight: The package weight including the packaging.
Package weight unit of measure: Specify the package weight unit in LB, OZ, KG, Milligrams, GR, etc.
Fulfillment centre ID: Select AMAZON_IN or DEFAULT for fulfillment centre ID.
