Contents of Sales Campaign Planner With Budget Excel Template

This template consists of 13 sheets:

  1. Sales Campaign Planner. (1 Sheet)
  2. Monthly Campaign Executor (Jan-Dec). (12 Sheets)

Sales Campaign Planner

With this sheet, you can plan your campaigns and monitor the execution of the campaigns. It consists of budget allocation and usage both so you can have an overview of spends on activities.

This sheet consists of the following columns:

Sr. No: Serial number of activities.

Activity Name: Name of the campaign.

Frequency: The number of times you want to conduct this activity per year.

No. of Times Conducted: This is the actual number of activities conducted. It fetches the data from the monthly sheets in which the execution takes place.

Balance: The number of activities left to be conducted. This cell deducts the activities conducted from total activities.

Allocated Budget: Once the management finalizes the Marketing Budget, you need to divide that budget into 12 months. Bifurcate it according to the number of activities per month.

Budget Per Activity: This cell divides the total budget by the number of activities.

Utilized Budget: It counts the activities conducted using Count Function from the monthly sheets and multiplies it with the budget per activity.

Balance Budget: The balance amount left after the utilized budget.

Remarks: If you have any remarks to enter you can enter in this cell.

Monthly Campaign Executor (Jan-Dec)

In Monthly Marketing Campaign Executor, you need to select the campaign on respective dates. Record the status of activities as and when conducted.

This sheet consists of the following columns:

Date: Insert only the first date of the month in the light blue colored cell and it will automatically fetch the rest of the dates.

Day: No entry to be made in this column. Using TEXT Function, it automatically fetches the respective day.

Campaign Activity-1: Select the campaign activity from the drop-down list. This list is created from the activities list entered in Sales Campaign Planner.

Activity-1 Status: In this cell also you need to select the status from the drop-down list; “Pending”, “Postponed” or “Done”.

If you are conducting two activities per day then select the campaign in Activity-2 and its status.

Remarks: Remarks if there you want to add some details or issues.

Similar 12 sheets are given for each month from January to December.

  2. Study your competitors and emphasize on providing better than them.
  3. Outline products and services for each campaign.
  4. Define your customer area.
  5. Plan a budget and work on it thoroughly.
  6. Revisit and update your activities according to the need as and when required.
