Let us understand the contents of each file in detail.
These two tables, each consists of 16 practice sums for division operation. Thus, there are a total of 32 basic division problems with a different combination of numbers.
The child needs to insert the answers in the light blue color cell only. They must not write anything in the dark blue color cells as they have predefined formulas.
On entering the answer, the cell next to it displays “Good” if correct and “Try Again” is incorrect.
As soon as the child completes all the division sums, click on the “New Numbers” button. This generates new combinations of numbers with the random numbers specified by you with the help of a macro and VBA code.
You have to specify a range in the boxes given above the button. You can specify the range of number according to the child’s grade.
Choose any digit range. This displays the division practice sums between that range. This range applies to denominators only.
Numerators and denominators will be the multiples of that range. The numbers displayed in the numerator will be higher. Do not insert “0” in range as it will produce an error.
The macro and VBA code in the sheet makes sure that the combinations displayed are exactly divisible by the denominator. Thus, you need not worry about that.
This printable version of the sheet is created for those who want to practice the division manually on printed sheets.
The printable sheet w similar to the previous sheet. The only difference is that it is plain Black and white to save ink.
Set the print area and print the sheet. Print and give it to your child to practice the division problems.
For different combinations, generate other numbers and make a new sheet with new combinations. Click on the “New Number” button to generate new numbers.
In case you are catering more than one student at a time and want all the practice sheets to be different from each another than just click “New Numbers”. Thus, you can give printout with a different set of questions to different children.
